High Performance Equipment Thermometers
These High Performance thermometers are designed to be left inside Freezers, Refrigerators, Incubators and Ovens and have an accuracy of ±0.2°C. Many competitors offer a less accurate version with a shorter thermometer so don't be fooled.
Each item features 0.2°C accuracy, Teflon coating for safety, individual serial numbers and a multi-language (English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish) Statement of Accuracy indicating accuracy traceable to NIST. Tested and calibrated in a triple accredited/registered ISO/IEC 17025:2005, A2LA accredited laboratory against equipment whose calibration is traceable to NIST.
The liquid used in the thermometer and bottle is non-toxic,non-hazardous and biodegradable.

Statement of Accuracy shows that these thermometers were calibrated against a reference standard traceable to NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology). This calibration shows that the thermometer has a scale error/tolerance is within ±1 to 2 scale divisions (depending on its range) over the entire length of the thermometer scale. There is no expiration date on this report since a properly manufactured thermometer will maintain its given accuracy as long as it is stored, handled, and utilized correctly. Since individual temperature points are not tested, this is NOT a certified instrument. Certified versions are available upon request.
