Parafilm Laboratory Film

Parafilm M® wrapping film is a semi-transparent, flexible, thermoplastic, highly waterproof sheet material.  It's practically colorless, odorless, tasteless and approximately .005" thick.  It is highly insensitive to moisture vapor, moisture loss and moisture absorption, yet gas-permeable to make it ideal for working with culture media.

Parafilm molds and seals itself tightly, keeping moisture loss to a minimum.  It offers excellent protection for the contents of broth tubes, flasks, culture tubes, Petri dishes and numerous instruments and objects with irregular surfaces.  Choose between 2 different widths. Our roll lengths are 250 feet so don't be fooled by cheaper shorter length rolls.
