POLYSEED NX Seed Inoculum for CBOD

Convenient, fast and cost-effective CBOD analysis with consistent results. Each capsule of specialized microbial cultures contains a chemical additive for the inhibition of nitrifying bacteria in wastewater samples. Designed to provide a standard seed source for the degradation of both industrial and municipal waste in CBOD testing. Formulated according to The Standard Methods for Examination of Water and Wastewater.

 To use, mix contents of one (1) capsule with 0.5L of APHA standard dilution water at 20°C (68°F), stir for at least 60 minutes.  Mixture yields seed inoculum for up to 200   CBOD5 tests
